There is so much to see and do at the Preserve, including hiking trails, bird watching, geocaching, or simply enjoying your meal in the picnic area.

Hike the Preserve

Thanks to our local scout troops and community volunteers, we have a new half-mile loop trail that winds through the scenic woods of Tucker Nature Preserve. There is also a new dog-waste station located at the parking lot to make it easier to bring your four-legged friends with you!

Birdwatch

As more invasive plant species are removed and native plants return, the number of birds at Tucker Nature Preserve is increasing. Be sure to record your bird and other wildlife sightings in the notebook located at the kiosk.

Picnic at the Preserve

Come have a picnic at Tucker Nature Preserve! We have a five new picnic tables and new trash cans as well. You can even see Stone Mountain from the group picnic area!

Geocache

There are two geocaches located within the preserve. Test out your GPS skills and get a tour of the park at the same time! Click here and here for more info about the geocaches.
